I've been on the go the last week or so, today I finally have a minute to share this smoothie! Oh..my..yum! This really is perfection in a glass, you've got creamy bananas, sweet raspberries, nutty almonds, satisfying protein, and more! I couldn't help but smile as I drank this smoothie down. This is a great late morning or afternoon snack, or after a workout. This would even be a yummy treat for the kids! Just leave out the protein powder and make a nutritious fruit smoothie.
In a blender, pour 8 ounces vanilla flavored almond milk
Add one frozen banana, 1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries and 1Tbsp almond butter
Drop one pitted date into the blender (for natural sweetness and energy)
Use one serving of your favorite vanilla protein powder (can be made without)
Add a dash of cinnamon, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract and ice cubes
Blend until smooth and creamy
