Sometimes there is nothing better and more refreshing then a cold, creamy, fruity smoothie! Perhaps maybe even one of my most favorite things! If you can get yourself a good high speed blender, you are even able to turn your basic fruit smoothie into an awesome superfood, nutrient rich breakfast or afternoon energy booster! Not only delicious, but smoothies break down the food that is being blended up before you drink them down so it is easier on your digestive system...making fresh fruit smoothies great for cleansing the body. Have fun mixing and matching different fruits and veggies to create something you love! Here are a few of my favorites:

**Tips:
* Buy a lot of bananas, slice in half, and freeze them so you always have the right portion frozen and ready for your smoothies!
*Liquid stevia is an awesome ingredient to add sweetness with out the extra sugar calories
*Add lemon juice to fruit smoothies to add a bit of freshness and a cleansing aid
*Buy organic kale on sale, wash and cut into pieces, and keep frozen so it will last longer
*Often frozen fruit is cheaper then fresh, be a smart shopper and compare prices
