We've made it about half way through summer, and it is HOT! A few times a week I wake up feeling a little dehydrated, so this refreshing smoothie is the perfect way to get my day going. Full of nutrition, protein and hydration- and there's nothing that says summer like mango and pineapple!
In a high speed blender, add the following:
8 ounces coconut water
1/2 cup fresh or frozen pineapple
1/2 cup fresh mango
1/2 granny smith apple
1 cup chopped, frozen kale
1 serving hemp protein (optional)
juice of 1/2 lemon
dash of ginger
